CRUMPLER Camera GEAR BAG, Meets a Cat!!

I was walking along the Leeds – Liverpool canal from Shipley to Saltaire when I paused to change lens on my camera. I put my bag down, and this cat appeared perhaps from one of these cottages adjacent to the towpath. She seemed very interested in my camera bag. So here we have cute cat with unknown (to me at least) name.

Yesterday on this blog I mentioned how easy it sometimes is to get a daily photo by just taking camera around during the day. Today I saw something I have not seen for many a long year, in fact not regularly since my childhood. Hopefully I will sort through todays photographs taken for the Leeds photo daily and it will appear here shortly.

Sleeping Cat

Passing a house in the village of Clifford, near Leeds a few days back I saw this cat snoozing on a mat by the front door. It was a bright, warm and sunny day not at all like the weather we have had the last few days.

Outside now here in Leeds it is damp, cold and quite wet having I think rained since last night. Did I mention the murky, grey 10/10ths cloud cover.

Cat Among the Dead

Picture of a cat in the churchyard of St Mark Woodhouse Leeds.

I passed nearby the church of St Mark in Woodhouse Leeds recently and was pleased to see the repairs to the structure are going well and the scaffolding will be down in a month or so.

Whilst in the churchyard I saw a black and white cat amongst the headstones, I tried to get closer but it was either shy or more likely given the neighborhood not used to being approached by people with good intent.

I think this churchyard could do with some churchyard goats to keep the vegetation under control rather than a cat!

Yorkshire Cat

Picture of a cat in Yorkshire.

I was out exploring churches and the beauty of their stained glass windows when I saw this cat outside a nearby cottage.

The day was not nice at all with some rain and it was also a dull day but a nice cake in a small cafe and meeting this fine looking cat made up for the weather. I watched the cat for a while then he sat just as he is in the above picture.

If I could have a feature in my pictures I would love to be able to get a cat in them. The simplest way would be to get a stuffed one but it really would be the same at all.
