Picture of Bramley reservoir, Leeds.
This is a view of Bramley Reservoir looking from the Tong Road end towards the Butt Lane end. I was stood on a footbridge and so was some feet above the water and the waterfowl.
Like most good sized stretches of water there are Mallard ducks, Canada geese, Greylag geese and I also saw a couple of coots. This reservoir is surrounded by busy roads and what appears to be council housing, this is I think the reason why there seemed to me to be an inordinate amount of litter and trash around the perimeter of the water.
Today was bright but quite cloudy as I walked around this man made lake.
